Good location. We had a room with a perfect view of the sunset, as requested.

We stayed in this apartment complex 5 years ago and when we re-booked this year it stated that it had been "newly renovated". This was NOT the case! Even the old lift was still there, never mind old fridges and broken cupboard doors!
We also had major problems with the noise level from the guests in the room next door. They were blasting their music at all hours of the night and morning while we were trying to sleep. We knew it was a party island, but the apartment complex advertised itself for families and young couples too, not just party people. We complained to the reception and the porter almost every day but nothing was done about the noise. There were big signs all over the apartment complex saying "It is totally prohibited to make noise after 11pm" and "We will call the police if there is anyone causing trouble", etc, but there was nobody there at night to enforce this. The porter claimed he didn't have the authority to throw people out, which is ridiculous. There should be someone there 24 hours a day who has the authority to throw trouble-makers out or call the police. The porter had the nerve to tell us to call the police ourselves if we were bothered!!! Despite the great location and the great view, we do not feel that this trip was worth the 56 euros per night which we paid for the room, since our sleep was constantly disrupted and no member of staff was willing to help us solve the problem. We will not be returning and we will not be recommending this apartment complex to anyone. Instead, we will make sure to leave these comments on every possible tourist website, to warn others.
