Cortijo Valverde is a peaceful country hotel with a difference in the heart of Andalucia. This tranquil retreat is only 45 minutes from Malaga airport and within easy access of Granada, Seville, Marbella, and Costa del Sol. The amazing El Chorro Gorge and the beautiful Ardales Lakes are only a short drive away, together with the wondrous El Torcal a mere 40-minutes drive through the magnificent A343 road to Antequera. We have outstanding views of the surrounding countryside, providing that special vacation destination for either a restful holiday, or a base from which to explore the many treasures that Andalucia has to offer. The Experience The Cortijo Valverde experience is unique and one which you are unlikely to have previously encountered. We work hard to provide an informal atmosphere, which provides the right environment for those who wish to relax and unwind. Our 'Dinner Party' style format for eating offers an opportunity for guests to meet and enjoy each others company, whilst enjoying freshly prepared home cooking. The combination of peace and quiet, good company and delicious food will make your holiday one to remember. Accommodation Each of our seven large air-conditioned bedrooms has been completely refurbished to a high standard. For 2007 season we have replaced the Spanish size beds with full-size continental beds, which are more suitable for our Northern European clients. All our rooms have tea and coffee making facilities, walk-in en-suite showers, hairdryers, air-conditioning for those hot summer days and heating for the cold winter nights. Leisure Facilities - We have an exceptionally large swimming pool with spectacular views where you can relax and enjoy the stunning scenery, especially during the summer months when it is very hot and a serious chill-out is required! - We have a new separate television and games lounge. We have a library of DVDs suitable for all ages, which you can enjoy on our new "Home Cinema System" at no char
