Me and my friend stayed at hotel Agan and were very happy with the service they provided us with. I mean the front desk staff were friendly and extremely helpful. They helped us dealing with the hotel we were going to stay next in Marmaris and also gave us directions about places to go in Istanbul. Also arranged airport transfer for us and made us feel really looked after for the short period we stayed at hotel Agan. I'm planning on going to Istanbul in a couple of weeks and am most definatelly going to stay at hotel Agan along with some friends of mine. Highly recommend this acommodation to anyone planning a short term stay in exotic Istanbul!

Energic atmosphere and friendly staff. Great location access to public transportation, food/restaurant and tourist attractions.

Unavoidable to open window for air when air conditioning is not operational. Not sure if it is because it is considered winter in late March.

Double check all reservation. It is all in Euro, not Turkish Lira. Currency conversion tends to change the pricing to the high end.

The staff are friendly and Ayca the manager has a happy disposition toward the guests. Rooms are renovated and clean. For the price it's a decent hotel which has a good location

Hotel itself is located in an alley which at nights is host to a rowdy crowd who can keep you up until 2-3 am. I had a problem with my Amex card which apparent;y the hotel is not keen on accepting but after they called their bank and reset their POS terminalat the front desk for Amex I was able to use it after a stressful hour. The room was not ready until 1 pm although the check-out time is 12 noon so I had to wait an hour to get into my room
