The hotel Reina Cristina is a typical 19th-Century mansion, renovated in 1.986 as a hotel. It was property of the spanish poet Luis Rosales, and it was also the house where another famous poet Federico Garcia Lorca was arrested before the Spanish Civil war. It keeps the Andalusian Charm in the inside patio (typical interior courtyard with a fountain). The excellent central location-only 200 metres from the Cathedral and half an hour by car from Sierra Nevada, and twenty minutes walking distance from the Alhambra. Situados en pleno centro histórico-artístico y comercial de Granada. Los principales monumentos de la capital se encuentran a escasos metros, lo que facilita enormemente su visita. El edificio es una hermosa mansión del siglo XIX, de tres plantas, con cuarenta y tres habitaciones, que perteneció a la familia Rosales, y albergó en sus últimos días al insigne poeta granadino Federico García Lorca. La fachada y el patio- típico granadino aún conservan el ambiente de aquellos años en todos sus rincones.
