The location of the hotel is great and very helpful when you want to have a rest in the middle of the day. The workers are kind and helpful

The room is very small, a little table and an extra chair could have help when you want to have a cup of coffee in the room.

We were bitterly disappointed that when we finally fought through all of the people in Venice with our luggage and arrived at this hotel to be told that we still had another 10 minutes to go as we weren't staying at the premises of the hotel. I specifically avoided other hotels with such arrangements so we were not impressed. They should warn you that you're not staying where you think you are! Very deceptive.

Hotel Ariel Silva two star hotel, is located in the historical centre of Venice, not far from the railway station Santa Lucia, 10 minutes from Piazzale Roma, the terminal for cars, and very close to the Casino. Recently restored, it has 10 rooms with private bath and 4 rooms (if necessary communicating) with 2 share bathrooms. All rooms have hairdrier, safe deposit box, telephone and warm and cold conditioning. The reception is open day and night and English, French, Spanish and Hungarian are spoken. Breakfast is served in private garden. In Autumn and Winter the garden is covered and heated. Hotel Ariel Silva is conveniently located close to the gran Canal from where it's possible to join the entire Venice and the islands of lagoon by the public boat. The Silva family would be happy to make suggestions and recommendations regarding the city and his history.
