Hotel Villa Gasparini is an 18th century mansion that well reflects the splendour of the golden age of Riviera del Brenta. The owners of this demesne, the Gasparini family, were originally from the Orient. The building has been painstakingly restored, retaining all the original features of its historical and artistic heritage, including the traditional Venetian terrazzo floors, made from coloured marble chips ground with crushed stone and stucco, the 18th century gilt-wood window pelmets, and the ceilings with the original exposed beams. Distant echoes from the Orient that had such a strong influence on Venetian style can be seen in the marquetry of the inlaid wood mantel and the partitions of the breakfast room. Venice and Padova can easily be reached from the Hotel Villa Gasparini thanks to a public bus connection. The stop is 20 meters from the hotel and buses run approximately every 20 minutes, saving tourists the hassle of driving in unknown areas.
