Solaris is situated in middle part of southern Croatia. It is part of Middle Adriatic, in fact part of northen Dalmatia and part of Šibenik-Knin county. Solaris is placed on a small peninsula, situated 6 km from city of Šibenik and about 80 km from Split and Zadar. Šibenik-Knin county inhabites 113.000 citisens, from wich 52.000 in Šibenik, 15.000 in Knin, 9.500 in Vodice, 8.600 in Drniš and 4.500 in Skradin. Mainland and island part, containing 242 islands and rocks, occupy 3.000 km2.
