I WANT TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THE SCHEPPERS HOTEL IN ROME NOT THE S"ENTRADOR PLAYA IN THE DROP DOWN MENU.+The Scheppers Hotel in Rome is extremely disappointing and its web page is misleading. It is MILES away from both the Vatican and the city centre although its web page says "a few steps away from the Vatican" This is a lie. We would never have booked a hotel so far away.We had to take both a metro and then a bus to the hotel. On leaving the bus you have to walk along a dual carriageway (yes!) and up a quiet road next to a service station.Furthermore the breakfasts were the worst I've had in even a 2 star hotel. The coffee was truly undrinkable. We went to the service station twice to get some decent coffee for breakfast before waiting for the bus because there is nothing near there (except the Holiday Inn). Other guests were equally very unhappy. The distances from the city centre nearly ruined the holiday as we had to stay out all day and evening - also the Metro stops running at 9.30 pm so we had a 40- 60 minute walk from the city centre to the bus stop, from which to catch the bus to the hotel. BE WARNED!
