The Ghent River hotel is an new hotel situated on the right bank of the Leie which beaconed the Ghent boarder between 11th and 15th century. Thanks to the ancient pier, Ghent-River-Hotel is the only hotel that can be reached by boat! Our hotel is situated right in the middle of the old town and the commercial centre of the city. The hotel consists of a Renaissance house of 1518 and an old factory of 1857. Both buildings are connected with a very modern part. We have 77 very charming and warmly decorated rooms. Each room has television, telephone, mini-bar, safe, air conditioning and internet connection. Several rooms have also a magnificent view over the river. The breakfast room is situated on the 3rd floor of the hotel, with a magnificent view on the Skyline of Ghent. We serve an elaborated breakfast buffet from 7am until 10am during the week and until 11am during the weekend. In the cosy lounge of the hotel you can enjoy a Belgian beer or another drink. Our sauna and fitness gives you the opportunity to relax or to work on your condition.
