If You come from Oporto or from the air-port of Oporto ( Porto ) then the best way is to take IC1 direction to Valenca, ( please note that if You come from the air-port of Oporto You have to first go in direction to Porto then the sign Valenca appears ) follow IC1 until sign of Braga - Barcelos , where You turn for Barcelos, follow the road to Barcelos until a sign of Viana Do Castelo appears , You have to turn twice for the sign Viana Do Castelo to get on the national road 103 - direction Viana Do Castelo - follow this road 103 until You find a small round-about , follow stright ahead still in direction of Viana Do Castelo, after 200 meters from the round-about- turn right- in direction of Tamel Sta. Leocadia., after about 1 km You will find Quinta Do Tarrio on You right hand, please enter in the second green gate - Welcome to Quinta Do Tarrio - If You choose to take the high-way A1 from Lisbon -Porto or any other roads for Barcelos You will always have to turn twice , in direction of Viana Do Castelo ( see above ).
