The Carasco is one of the oldest and sought-after hotels in Lipari because of its uniquely beautiful position, its excellent and spacious facilities and the warm reception it offers to guests. Perched on a cliff at the water’s edge in what many regards as the most beautiful location on the islands, it is not isolated and the island’s many attractions are within easy reach by foot. As more and more people travel long distances for their annual holidays, many Mediterranean destinations are becoming overdeveloped, losing their identities and characters. We, at the Carasco, are aware of this risk and by careful planning, taking account of the unique characteristics and landscape of the island, as well as the very individual needs of the guests, we can offer a stay which can appeal just not to the senses but also to the intellect.
