Close to train station and bus stop to airport

We were followed around the city by a homeless man that lived in front of the hotel. We witnessed him attack and physically abuse a person walking by. We asked the man behind the desk to please call the police to stop what was happening. He told us to go back in our rooms and tried to tell us we had nothing to worry about as we were on the second floor. I explained to him the man had followed us around town and he again dismissed my concerns. This upset me as my friend and I had a 7:00 am flight to catch so we were going to be leaving very early the next morning and we were concerned for our safety if the man was still out there. He again refused to call the police or even acknowledge our concerns. Not long after that the man whom was attacked came back with the police and asked us to give a statement. The guy behind the desk tried to run him off but would not run off the man who actually attacked this person. I was furious. He was rude and the place is not even safe for a grown man walking down the street much less women or children. Would never stay again and would highly suggest no one else does either.
