Merely an hour’s drive from Port Elizabeth, one and a half hours from Big Five Private Game Reserves, 50 metres from the main beach and within walking distance of quaint village shops, 18 hole golf course, restaurants, tennis and squash courts. St. Francis Bay is a paradise for water sports enthusiasts: It boasts sandy beaches and ideal conditions for surfing. In season, August to October, whales can be seen daily in the Bay of St. Francis. Many holiday homes were built at the numerous canals from where one can get to the Kromme River by boat.
